RECOVERY COMMUNITY
ORGANIZATION HOST:
J'S PLACE RECOVERY CENTER

J’s Place was founded in 2018 by Dallas Gay, Deb Bailey, Reese Daniel and a dedicated group of supporters. J’s Place was named in memory of Jeffrey Dallas Gay, Jr., who struggled with addiction prior to his passing.
As J’s Place quickly grew to be a fixture in the recovery community in Hall County and beyond, the need for more space became apparent, and a new building for J’s Place was dedicated in memory of Dallas Gay in the spring of 2023.

J’s Place has continued to serve all aspects of the recovery community, hosting meetings for Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Parent Support, Double Trouble in Recovery, All Recovery and Combat Veterans. Additionally, J’s Place hosts monthly speaker meetings, firepit meetings and seasonal gatherings for the recovery community. Persons in recovery can also receive peer recovery coaching, resume assistance and help with finding housing, treatment and employment.
