RECOVERY COMMUNITY
ORGANIZATION HOST:
NEW LIFE

We are a non-clinical “peer” led center. All staff working here self-identify as someone in long-term recovery from substance use and are certified peer specialist-addictive disease in the state of Georgia. We are here to support anyone and their allies at any stage of their journey to recovery, whether actively using to having multiple years in recovery. We are a safe judgement free space and a beacon of hope for recovery in the community. We believe there is more than one way to recovery and that each person has a right to choose and explore pathways that work for them. We provide education to the community in an effort to reduce stigma surrounding substance use and advocate for community inclusion for those both in and seeking long-term recovery.

We provide peer led, person-centered addiction recovery support, education, training, and advocacy grounded in “lived experience” that empowers and equips, while providing a safe and hope filled environment to those both in and seeking long-term recovery from the disease of addiction.
